12mm GAZ 66 Truck from Butlers Printed Models

One Soviet GAZ 66 truck. Available in 6mm (1/285), 12mm (1/144), 15mm (1/100), 20mm (1/76) and 28mm (1/56).

The GAZ-66 is a Soviet and later Russian 4x4 all-road military truck produced by GAZ. It was one of the main cargo vehicles for motorised infantry of the Soviet Army and is still employed in former Soviet Union countries.

The GAZ-66 has gained legendary status in many countries around the world due to its reliability, simplicity and off-road capability. Thanks to standard features, such as a front mounted winch, Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) and self-locking differentials, the GAZ-66 is extremely popular worldwide with armed forces and off-road enthusiasts. Production ceased in 1999, with the GAZ-3308 being produced instead.

Iltis MILAN & Munga from from Aotrs Shipyards

Aotrs Shipyards is a webstore on Shapeways.com, a 3D print house which had production and shipping facilities located in the USA and the Netherlands. Aotrs Shipyards also takes direct printing commissions.

This time, we have the MILAN version of the Iltis that I didn't have chance to do last time, and (as Thresher01 suggested it!) The DWK Munga, the Iltis' predecessor, both at 144th. (Both come in a sprue of four.)

The Kozak 2M.1 is now in the backlog pipeline. The Spartan is going to be delayed for a bit, until I can work out whether, according to my initial examinations, it is a completely different vehicle in practise to the Scorpion.

(According to what I’ve found on the dimensions, not only is it longer, but also wider and taller... And either the technical drawings I used for the Scorpion/Scimitar are wrong, or the ones for the Spartan I'm looking at are wrong, or I have completely got the size wrong or the wheels are not the same size. Investigation is pending, but if anyone has any insight...!)

So the next thing I will likely look at is the PT-76.

Vultee A-31 Vengeance from Miniwing

Vultee A-31 Vengeance is coming soon  from Miniwing.

The Vultee A-31 Vengeance was an American dive bomber of World War II, built by Vultee Aircraft. A modified version was designated A-35. The Vengeance was not used operationally by the United States, but was operated as a front-line aircraft by the British Royal Air Force, the Royal Australian Air Force, and the Indian Air Force in Southeast Asia and the Southwest Pacific. The A-31 remained in service with U.S. units until 1945, primarily in a target-tug role.

Ziggurat

We will offer a nicer bigger one and other terrain as a stretch goal.

Kickstarters still coming end of month - early next month. we have restocked on resin for test prints and have bought a second printer to speed up printing. if you don't have a printer but want one there are many services which will do it cheaply.

We will have it up on the thingiverse but sadly they make you wait 24 hours for this and we didn't want to make you wait .

Thank you all for the love and support.

It is now 3 years since the Bots first arrived by Traders Galaxy

It is now 3 years since the Bots first arrived by Traders Galaxy

It is now 3 years since the Bots first arrived. At first it was difficult to tell the two factions called Valiants and Deceivers apart. However it now seems that after just 3 short years splinter factions from each group have emerged. At times these splinter sub groups have allied with the parent group for specific mutual goals however it is more common for these groups to bitterly oppose each other. This is great news for planet earth. For if the Bot factions unity continues to break down then a united Democracy can overcome and destroy the smaller more isolated groups.

Some of the more dangerous splinter groups are listed below -
Hotwheels Bashers
Electrotyrants minions
The Trashers

With the disappearance of Galaxy Tyrant, Megatyrant assumed control of the remaining deceivers. At the time Megatyrant being the only bot in the Tyrant classification. However there has been a meteoric rise in Deceiver Bots approaching Tyrant class. Destructor, general of the eastern forces approaches this rank. However Electroshock, has split from the Deceivers with his closest followers and decided to build a primitive robot army with which to take over the planet. This selfish and ambitious act has elevated his rank to that of Tyrant. Now Electrotyrant commands a ruthless force of unthinking automata. By themselves the drones are no match for any bot. However do masse they are capable of dragging down even the Beastlords!

1809 Wurttemberg Sculpts & More from Pendraken Miniatures

The last batch of our 1809 Not-Kickstarter arrived last month but with all the work on BKC-IV and our 28mm Kickstarter, we didn't get chance to photo them for you!  We got some pics taken this past weekend though and then the sculpts have gone straight into a master mould.  We've also started on the production moulds this week, so the Hesse moulds should be done by the end of the week, Saxony next week, etc.

In other news, we received all of the flag designs from Tony Hughes a couple of weeks ago, so we'll get those formatted and off to the printers.  They look cracking as well, Tony's done an excellent job on them.

I'm not sure if we'll be able to ship any of these before Salute, but this will be our first priority once we're back from the show and we've shipped out the BKC replacements/pre-orders.  We'll send out the 2nd batch of invoices when the packages are ready to start shipping as well.

News Update from Traders Galaxy

News Update from Traders Galaxy

There seems to be so much happening at once. So many things I want to do. This post will show how the current strategy for Bot War is progressing and what is coming up in the immediate future.

First up I would like to encourage you all to check out the new models coming through. For me, I think they capture some of the essence of 1980s cartoons while still having some freshness about them.

The website has been updated and I have planned a bit of a revamp over the next couple of weeks to make products a bit clearer.

I have changed the naming convention on the new sets.

Valiant series 2.1 means that this is the first set in the 2nd ed Bot War.

Eventually all model sets will change to this.

Hopefully I will complete Dustwind this week in my effort to have painted examples with character bios and stat lines of all sets eventually.

I have been trying to make more efficiencies in product so I can get product out much faster. I expect by July this will be pretty good.

A new starter set is definitely coming. I am working on this being a boxed set containing a very nicely packaged Atlantican Force and. Valiant force and a dice set. I am hoping it will also include an A5 printed 2nd ed rulebook!
Watch this space.

Aidan Spittles is still working on the F.A.A’s for 2nd ed. I hope he can complete these by end of this month. That is, if he stops painting models!!

April is Deceiver part one month.

I have already loaded preorders for this onto the site. 6 possible new models from one set.

Astroshuttle
Blitzkreig
Alkane
Destructor
Redwarp
Lazorwing

as well as Blockade and a female Deceiver Basher!

I am also rushing to get Stiletto into April release dates as well.

Valiants will get a little love with Smokey, Bandit and Silverstreak coming April as well.

Electroshocks minions are getting a revamp which will include new models for Air Warriors and Electroshock. This will happen closer to June/July. However limited quantities of Guard and Drone UNITS will be available soon along with a trial stat card. Both sets contain 3 guards or drones on a single 60mm base. They hit like a Beastlords but die easier than a Bubblebot.

The future:

Many of you have seen the new Air Warriors work in progress pics. These models represent the full change of Bot War direction.

More dynamic posing, greater details, some inspiration. These will be coming out around June with a new Megatyrant! Some will also go into the new Electroshock faction.

All new Atlanticans are still definitely coming and are only delayed because of me slowing things down. 5 new bots, 2 vehicles and the first combiner!

Overlords sculpt is completed and being printed. Death Shark Units are currently being sculpted now! Gator Warriors are being sketched in concept. Overlords are definitely for players who don’t want to take things too seriously. Some awesome rules coming for these guys too.
