Major General Mariano Arista consults with Brigadier General Romulo Diaz de la Vega as they personally place the 6th Line Infantry Regiment into their mile-long line of battle at Palo Alto. Meanwhile the Light Mounted Regiment of Mexico moves to the left of their line. All figures are from my So Far from God range of 10mm figures for the Mexican-American War. All will make a showing for my game at Hurricon 2020.

Los Auxiliares Montados de las Villas del Norte from Good Ground LLC

Los Auxiliares Montados de las Villas del Norte. This mounted unit was present at both Palo Alto and Resaca del la Palma. They were even less effective than their line cavalry brethren. The large amount of cavalry in the Mexican Army was considered an implement of battle by the Mexican leaders. They soon discovered that time was 30 years in the past.

Mexican 4th Line Infantry from Good Ground LLC

The Mexican 4th Line Infantry was the largest of the Mexican Line Regiments to fight Zachary Taylor at Palo Alto and Resaca de La Palma. It is remade here using my 10mm So Far From God range of 10mm figures for the Mexican - American War 1846-48.
