I'm happy to show you our first release of 2020, a new 1:144th scale SCW aircraft this time. It's the renowned Breguet Br. XIX, a light bomber and reconnaissance biplane aircraft that is a real must for virtually any interwar, SCW and early WWII setting.

Boxed set containing 1 easy assembly resin aircraft, consisting of just 9 main parts, besides of white metal pilot and gunner kindly provided by Peter Pig. Decal sheet with WWII Greek and SCW markings (both sides). Assembly instructions and Painting schema based in Vallejo range, on box reverse.

1/144 Breguet Br.XIX Progress by Minairons Miniatures

After having been halted for longer than desired, we've recently decide to push forward the 1/144 scale version of Breguet Br.XIX, a 2-seat bomber and reconnaissance aircraft that was standard to the Spanish Air Force in the 1920s and early 1930s. Here below you have a caption of a master model of it, at the start of casting process --the other aircraft to its side is a Fiat CR.32 master model, ready for another production batch.

We expect to release it within current year, accompanied by a decals sheet with markings suitable for both SCW sides. We shall price it the same as other aircrafts in the range, most probably.

Prototype of Breguet XIX light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft at 1:144 scale is now ready for being brought into moulds. Naturally, there is still a lot of work to do before the ultimate production model is born, such as sculpting its crew, deciding what decals to wear and preparing a couple of samples for artwork. However, I've thought that some of you would like to know what it's starting to look like.

As for what markings to choose for decals, both Spanish Civil War sides are a straightforward option but I'd like to also allow more choices. However, if we do have in mind the large number of countries that employed this aircraft, and the reduced space available in a standard decals sheet, I'm afraid we'll have no other chance that setting a poll to help decide.

It's been a long time since our latest addition to our SCW aircraft range, a perhaps-longer-than-wished lapse of time. However, now we've retaken the range, placing on the workbench a Breguet XIX, a two-seat biplane that was the Spanish Republic Air Force's standard bomber before the outburst of civil war, and was intensively used by both sides in the very first stages of that conflict.

Model itself will be quite easy to build – with no more than eight parts, besides pilot and gunner. A few smaller parts will be white-metal, while the larger ones will be high-quality resin.

We are planning to complement the model kit with a decal sheet that will include markings for both SCW sides, naturally – but we had also in mind to also add some early WWII markings. We're thinking of Greek and Polish markings; would you support this choice?
