Stock Delivery from Arrowhead Miniatures

Just had a small stock delivery so we are now topped up on Panther G , Firefly, K2 ambulance, etc etc.

Work is still progressing on the Centurion which is just awaiting its running gear then its to roll. The Sherman Jumbo is in a similar state of readiness and the Sherman Crab is ready to have its claws fitted. Am expecting the Panzer III L and Panzer IV D remakes in a couple of weeks then its the turn of the Panther A for a makeover.

Bofors Guns in Stock from Arrowhead Miniatures

We now have Bofors guns in stock along with its strange tractor unit the Bedford QLB or garden-shed-on-wheels as my good wife once called it. Sigh .

The Bedford QLR radio truck is also now available. Should have some pictures ready over the weekend.

With Lockdown Easing from Arrowhead Miniatures

With the lockdown easing , the casting company I use has returned to work. I have been assured that the Bedford QLB, QLR and Bofors gun models will be delivered by June 1st . I will be sorting out all the back orders first and then dispatching new orders from there on. The Valentine III will be here presently too along with a new remake of the Panzer III Ausf L and Panzer IV Ausf D.

I have a limited number ( 16) of damaged PZ IV D castings which are available for free !!! ( they have damaged and torn mudguards) , First come first served - limited to 4 per customer but for your own use only -no resales or I'll get cross.

Lockdown, Non Lockdown from Arrowhead Miniatures

This lockdown/ non lockdown seems to be affecting us in strange ways in that there is lot of work going on on new models but we can't get them finished due to to hold ups with other firms working/ not working, backed up and whatever. Currently have the Centurion well advanced but waiting for trackwork come back , Sherman hulls finished, trackwork still pending, trackwork for German Puma IFV finished but no hull as yet. We'll get there in the end.

We've had to withdraw the Panzer IV D from the range as the mould is having to be remade. The good news is that the Valentine III should be with us soon.

We have managed to get the pattern for the Valentine III off to a casting company. Hopefully it will be available by mid May. We are still working ( slowly ) on several other new models at the moment, the Sherman Jumbo, Sherman Crab , which is causing some head scratching , Bedford refuelling bowser and Matador flatbed and bowser.

The Tale of the Accursed Bofors Gun Part 12.

Firstly a big thank you for all the orders that keep coming in and hope everyone is staying safe. . Seems there's quite a few locked down modellers out there.

The Bofors gun and the Bedford QLB and QLR have been cast up but have been caught up with this wretched Covid 19 business in that the casting factory decided to close down before they were in a position to dispatch them.

Obviously I can't send your outstanding orders out until things get back to normal with them. If anyone wants to cancel and have a refund please get in touch. My admin system reminds me every day about the o/s stuff so you definitely won't be forgotten.

Running Late on Deliveries from Arrowhead Miniatures

I have just heard from my casters that they are running late on deliveries for various reasons so the new Bedford Lorries and Bofors gun will be late in arriving.

I am now expecting them circa 25th March. Am really sorry for customers with outstanding orders on these items and I will get them dispatched as soon as possible on receipt of the delivery.

In the meantime I will send out the balance of your orders so you all can make a start on painting, etc.

A while ago we asked the Arrowhead community what they would like us to release next. With close to 27 responses, we have narrowed it down to 10 different vehicles and then totally ignored everyone and started making what we wanted to do all along.

Bedford QLB, Bedford QLR from Arrowhead Miniatures

Production has at last started on the Bedford QLB, Bedford QLR and the seemingly-previously-doomed-to-never-be- produced-blast-the-thing Bofors 40mm AA gun. I am in the position to be able to take forward orders on the lovely Bedfords and the accursed-gun . Delivery to customers will be March 16th at the very latest so feel free to place an order. The Bofors will have crew figures with it as a bonus for any orders placed before the 16th March.
