Announcement from War Banner Ltd

With the changing of the name War Banner because of Games Workshop thinking it sounds like Warhammer to Dark Peak Games. Today Dark Peak Games became short-lived as we have been served with a cease and desist from Peak Games (I kid you not), because of this we are not sure where we go from here on the name front.

Our current thought is to switch everything over to Footsore Miniatures and regroup which will mean the removal of this page in favour of the DPG: Footsore Miniatures page. If you aren't following us over there can we encourage you to join us?

We are going to sleep on it and try and digest everything as at the moment we are a bit shell shocked and once decided we will make an announcement. Once again sorry for all the confusion, but it really isn't of our making.

Blitzkrieg Commander IV now on Wargame Vault

We uploaded the new Blitzkrieg Commander IV file to Wargame Vault last night ready for our launch on Saturday, but due to a slight glitch in their upload process the new file has been sent out to everyone a little earlier than planned!

You should receive an email from them to confirm but if you're having any trouble just log in to your WV account and you'll find the revised rules in your Library.

Honest Conversation Time from Traders Galaxy

Honest conversation time

This Bot War group needs to grow or many more members need to engage. Now that most older sets will discontinue 30th April I really need to expand this group a lot.

With the amount of effort I am putting in, I am surprised that this group is only 374 members. Of those many are not engaged at all in the group and likely never even see the posts.

I would love to hear from all those members that have never engaged with Bot War to understand why.
But sadly they may never even see this post.

Furthermore a few of you have promoted the game in your clubs or at events however there has not been many additional people join this small community as a result. It would be great to hear your feedback from these real experiences as to why people were or were not interested

Anyway. I need to start actively growing this group now that the older sets are being discontinued.

Edit: Hmm. Just reread this and it sounds a little dramatic. It’s just a “how do I grow Bot War” post really.

Nice village for my taste. The coloured church is from WW2 3rd edition (not part of actual Kickstarter), but it fits wonderful for this files.

I added some modular buildings, so you can change them, to make a couple of variants. Most will not need this large number for gaming, but you can not have enough files ...
