This 1:144 WWII German 3.7cm Flak 43 auf sWS model contains 6 parts: chassis, a pair of side panels, gun mount, gun and sled. Gun can be elevated on the mount and rotate on the sled.

3.7cm Flak 43 - one of the most widely used anti-aircraft gun used by Germany during WWII. They were also used in ground support role and were mounted on different vehicles to gave them mobility. The gun has a rate of fire of 150 RPM and had considerable armour penetration power with AP ammunition

sWS (Schwerer Wehrmachtsschlepper) or Heavy Armed Forces Tractor, was a simple half track vehicle developed and used by Germany from 1943 to 1945. It was designed to replace the SdKfz 6 and SdKfz 11. Initial release was unarmoured and like a lorry resembling the SdKfz 11, later versions were semi armoured and looked like the Sdkfz 251 in front with lorry like flatbed. Side and rear panels are make with wood planks. Later versions had the side panel made with metal screen and an additional storage container overhanging the rear panel. It was this version that the 37 mm Flak 43 auf sWS was developed. The side panel can lock flat horizontally so that there was more space for the gun operators to move around. Fully armoured versions were also developed to carry the Nebelwerfer 42. An improved version continued to be produced by Tatra in Czechoslovakia after the war.

This model is fully painted in Camouflage colour scheme, assembled and weathered.

This model is made with ABS-L using 3D printing.

This 1:144 German 88mm Pak 43 L/71 on Cruciform features a anti tank 88mm Pak 43 L/71 specially modified during the development of the Leichter Waffenträger (Leichte Einheitswaffenträger) 88mm Pak 43 L/71 (Ardelt I) and can elevate to a 40 – 45 degree angle so that it can double as a field gun. And not to forget the 88's original role as AA gun, so this gun could be a triple role platform. (Gun Crew NOT included)

Risks and challenges

Hi All, Firstly thanks again for your continued support. Without your generous support these mini's would never get produced. Much appreciated. I've sculpted all the mini's already ( bar the bonus 10th Ogre). I have also cast them on a comp mould and they came out perfect. The funding will cover multiple production moulds and casting fees. I have strived to keep the costs as low as possible. I will have the mini's mailed in December. So reasonably swift turnaround. Not envisioning any issues, I've done this about 4 times already. Doing this myself this time. Makes it easier.

Project Update #6: CAV: Strike Ops III, Kickstarter from Talon Games

And a Happy first day of October to everyone!

As I've mentioned before, once we push the "go" button on a kickstarter, it tends to take on a life of it's own, going in directions that nobody can always plan perfectly for. We planned this one in hopes of generating a LOT of really cool models and tried to include things that would appeal to a wider batch of backers. While we are way ahead of the curve in comparison to our second KS, it has not advanced as far as I would have liked at this point to make getting all of the models we had hoped to include a reality.

So, to increase the overall value of the Core Set, I have gone ahead and removed the Terrain and Aircraft Expansions from this campaign going forward. This will allow some of the higher levels to come down $ wise and allow us to concentrate on just the CAVs and vehicles. We will still be adding the dropship as the final stretch goal once we get closer to the campaign's end.

As far as the Terrain and Aircraft, we will start planning for projects to focus on them in the future and as we get closer we will share those details with you.

I have updated the progression chart and stretch goals on the main KS page with the new amounts.
