One NATO M270 MLRS, self-propelled multiple rocket launcher. Available in 6mm (1/285), 12mm (1/144), 15mm (1/100), 20mm (1/76) and 28mm (1/56).

The M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System (M270 MLRS) is an armored, self-propelled, multiple rocket launcher; a type of rocket artillery. Since the first M270s were delivered to the U.S. Army in 1983, the MLRS has been adopted by several NATO countries. Some 1,300 M270 systems have been manufactured in the United States and in Europe, along with more than 700,000 rockets. The production of the M270 ended in 2003.

The weapon can fire guided and unguided projectiles up to 26 miles. Firing ballistic missiles, such as the U.S. Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), it can hit targets 190 miles away the warhead in such shots reaches an altitude of about 164,000 ft. The M270 can be used in shoot and scoot tactics, firing its rockets rapidly, then moving away to avoid counter battery fire.

The M270 MLRS may be armed with either:
12 x M26 rockets in two pods of six,
or 2 x M39 missiles, one in each pod.

The M270 MLRS can be reloaded quickly by simply exchanging the pods rather than loading each rocket individually.
Consequently the reload pods are available in pairs.
- A pair of M26 rocket pods
- Or a pair of M39 missile pods
