Walk Pickett's Charge! Register Today for our April 21 Generations Event

Walk Pickett's Charge! Register Today for our April 21 Generations Event

More than a century and a half ago, three Confederate divisions assaulted the center of the Union line at Gettysburg in one of the dramatic charges of the Civil War. Today, this event is commonly known as Pickett’s Charge, named after the commander of one of the Confederate divisions.

I am thus especially excited to invite you to the Civil War Trust’s upcoming Generations event! On April 21, we will Walk Pickett’s Charge in this free, family-friendly event at Gettysburg National Military Park.

Whether you bring your son, granddaughter, niece, or nephew, or friend, they are sure to have an experience that will help instill a lifelong passion for history! They will have an opportunity to choose their side, outflank the enemy, and learn about the climactic fight at the stone wall—what many refer to as the High Water Mark of the Confederacy. Some lucky kids will even get the chance to don hats and uniforms of their choice.

Share your passion for history at this special event. This program is free and open to anyone who brings someone from another generation, but space is limited, so please register today!
