10mm Samples from Shellhole Scenics

Ian from Shellhole Scenics has very kindly sent me some samples of his new 10mm range He's intending to produce.

First up is the Opel Blitz, On first inspection I find it extremely clean and crisp, with hardly any flash.

And the same can be said for the canvas top there's just a slight mould line around the centre which can easily be sanded off.

And here's a few comparison shots with Pendrakens Opel Blitz

Ok so would I be happy fielding them in the same unit No as there is a slight difference in size but I would be more than happy having them on the table in a separate unit.

Overall conclusion definitely worth having.

Ok the next model I'm looking at is the StuG III Ausf. E It comes as a one piece casting and is very nice and crisp with plenty of detail

And here's a few comparison shots with Pendrakens StuG III

Ok so would I be happy fielding them in the same unit No as there is a large difference in size but I would be more than happy having them on the table in a separate unit.

However I would be particularly interested to do a comparison between this and one of the Magister Militum Stug

Personally I can't wait until the whole Range is released.
