2016: Year in Review

2016: Year in Review

During this season of thanks, the Civil War Trust offers our sincere appreciation to you, our generous supporters, for another successful year. As 2016 begins its final weeks, we have much to be thankful for and a great deal to be proud of. This year, we successfully restored General Lee’s Gettysburg Headquarters and surrounding acreage to its 19th century appearance. In Kentucky, we saved a crucial 70 acres at the site of the 1862 Battle of Perryville. We have also saved significant land at Revolutionary War battlefields, including more than 10 acres at Brandywine in Pennsylvania.

These and many more victories were only possible with the generous support and dedication of preservationists like you. Our thanks to you are immeasurable.
